Various materials are available for kitchen worktops, each offering unique properties and benefits:

Granite

A natural stone prized for its durability, heat resistance, and elegant appearance. Formed from cooled lava and magma over many thousands of years, granite is one of the hardest naturally occurring stones and no two pieces are alike.

Quartz

An engineered stone composed of quartz crystals and resins. It is highly durable, non-porous, and resistant to scratches and stains. Popular brands we supply are Consentino, Silestone, Fugenstone and Cimstone.

Dekton

A high end and groundbreaking surface material that has offers exceptional durability, aesthetics, and versatility. Developed by Cosentino, Dekton is a blend of natural minerals, including quartz, porcelain, and glass, resulting in a material that combines the best qualities of natural stone, quartz, and porcelain.

Acrylic

A seamless, non-porous, repairable and available in a wide range of colours and patterns. Generally more affordable than Quartz and granite but offering a similar look. A popular brand we supply is Minerva.

Laminate

An affordable and popular option that mimics the look of other materials such as granite or wood. It is durable and easy to clean and comes in a wide variety of looks. We supply Eggar, Duropal, Bushboard, Formica and many more brands of Laminate worktops.

Compact Laminate

A layered laminate manufactured under high pressure to produce a highly durable non porous worksurface. These worksurfaces a very popular with modern kitchens and generally come in 12.5mm thickness and a variety of styles. Brans we supply include Zenith, Axiom and Duropal.

Wood

A classic choice that brings warmth and character to a kitchen. It is durable and resistant to heat but requires regular sealing to prevent damage from moisture.
